Waste Hierarchy

Our aim is to move all of our clients as close to the top of the waste chain as possible. We don’t do this just because it improves their environmental credentials; rather it helps them to reduce their operational costs and consequently saves them money.

The Waste Hierarchy ranks waste management options according to what is best for the environment. It gives top priority to preventing waste in the first place. When waste is created, it then prioritises preparing it for reuse, then recycling, then recovery and, last of all, disposal (e.g. landfill).

Simply Waste Solutions is able to deal with all manner of waste streams, and we can provide the appropriate containers to suit each client’s needs. For example, the customer can have separate containers to deal with recyclable waste (such as paper, cardboard, cans and plastic) and/or throw everything into one container, with bespoke options available for food and glass recycling. We will then collect and take the materials to the appropriate site. All our disposal partners process the waste to ensure as much recyclable material as possible is removed and recovered for recycling. Simply Waste can help your business achieve Zero to Landfill and dramatically reduce your carbon footprint. The benefit to you is that by recycling your waste, and separating it into different streams, this can also save you a lot on your operational costs.
